Obituary for Thomas Edward Dumser

Thomas Edward Dumser, age 91, of Collierville, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, June 28 in Grace Medical Center Rehabilitation. Mr. Dumser was a WWII veteran, retired after 27 years service in the United States Navy, and 20 years service in the Memphis Defense Depot. His military career spanned WWII and the Korean and Viet Nam Conflicts. He was wounded during the first Kamikaze attacks on U. S. warships.
Mr. Dumser is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Harris Dumser, of Collierville; four daughters: Dotti Russett of Cordova, Tennessee; Debbie Marshall (Darry) of Atoka, Tennessee; Diane Debois (Jack) of Millington, Tennessee; and Andy Dreadin, of San Diego, California; and by one son, Thomas E. Dumser II (Elise) of Lewisburg, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to Noon on Friday, July 1, Funeral at Noon, at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, Millington.
