Obituary for
Cayson Emmit Turnmire
Cayson Emmit Turnmire, age 5, of Southaven, Mississippi, left suddenly for his heavenly home on June 10, 2016. Cayson, born July 27, 2010, was the son of Marc and Amy Turnmire of Southaven, MS.
He was our little minion, so quick, so bright and full of his own words, thoughts and lines from his favorite movies. Cayson was loved by all and if you were one of the privileged, he would reward you with a peck or the cheek or a quick kiss on the run. He was our Cayson and he is now in the arms of God smiling at us all. Your bright blue eyes, happy sing-song voice and big smile will be sorely missed.
In addition to his parents, he leaves two brothers: Cooper and Carter, Southaven, MS; great-grandparents Brower (Sue) Higgs, Memphis, TN; grandparents Gary (Dianne) Higgs, Millington, TN; Rory Turnmire and Melanie Blackwood, Atoka, TN; Debby Turnmire-Fennel, Counce, TN; Sharon Dolny, Cordova, TN; Aunts and Uncles: Amanda McNeely, Arlington, TN and Blake & Brittany Turnmire, Southaven, MS, Misty Parker Phillips, Atoka, TN and Kelsi Turnmire, Atoka, TN. Cousins: Tyler McNeely, Emily and Cameron Shaw, Arlington, TN.
Visitation will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home of Millington, TN, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until noon with services immediately following. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
Cayson’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to family and friends, the Shelby County Fire Department, Air Wing and LeBonheur Children’s Hospital for their kindness and prayers. Psalm 88:9 “my eyes are dim with grief. I call to you, Lord, every day; I spread out my hands to you.”
